Be the Salt.
Be the Light.
Welcome to Be the Salt, Be the Light.
This is a space for everyday believers who want more than surface-level faith. Here you’ll find honest encouragement, biblical reflection, and practical steps to help you grow, heal, and live your faith boldly in today’s culture.
Why This Space
Exists
Many believers want to live for Christ, but often feel pulled in different directions by today’s culture.
Be the Salt, Be the Light exists to provide encouragement, biblical reflection, and practical reminders for believers who want to live boldly for Christ in everyday life.
A Note From Neccole
Hi, I’m Neccole.
I created Be the Salt, Be the Light because I’ve experienced seasons where my faith felt challenged by the pressures of culture. Like many believers, I’ve had moments where choosing Christ required courage, patience, and trust in God’s promises.
My prayer is that through this space you’ll find encouragement and reminders that following Christ is still worth it and your light still matters.
About Be the Salt, Be the Light
-
Through biblical reflection, life experiences, and practical encouragement, this space exists to strengthen faith and remind believers that their lives can shine in a world that desperately needs God's light.
-
We believe that God's Word is timeless and relevant for every generation.
We believe faith should be lived out daily, not just talked about on Sundays.
And we believe ordinary believers can make an extraordinary impact when they walk faithfully with Christ.
-
The message of the Bible is simple: God loves you and desires a relationship with you.
Sin separates us from God, but Jesus came to restore that relationship. Through His death and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven and made new.
Salvation is not earned through good works. It is a gift received by faith in Jesus Christ.
If you have never accepted Jesus, you can begin that relationship today by believing that He died on the cross for your sins and choosing to follow Him.
A prayer of faith:
Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask You to forgive me and come into my heart. Help me follow You and live for you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” - Romans 10:9
If you prayed this prayer, welcome to the family! Your journey with Christ has begun.
